I don't want to loose these as cumulatively, they represent weeks of work. My two problems are 1) I have many many many old documents with equations that I recycle periodically. Without that ability, I would much prefer using Latex on linux. Additionally, the only reason to use microsoft products is the ability to share the results with the wider world. And the results are ugly.Įditing equations is an essential component of my job, so I feel like I have been thrown under the bus by microsoft. Needless to say, microsoft's editor, which it claims to be equivalent, is a joke. Now I discover that MathType isn't supported for word 15 on mac. As part of getting a new one, I upgraded my word to 2016 (it was 2011). My mac died recently, so I got a new one.
